Samuel Johnson married Rebecca Moore. I believe they were both born in 1794. Their son William was born in 1823. He married Sarah, born 1824. They had a Emily Henrietta (or Emly)born April or May 25, 1851 in Spartanburg. She died in Lamar County, Alabama on January 12, 1893. Her husband was Henry Gibson Tate, born July 6, 1850 in Spartanburg. He died in Lamar Co., Alabama on August 31, 1918. Their daughter was Mary Ann Tate born Oct 1, 1874 and died February 3, 1951. She married Joseph Edward Graham and had a lot of children, one of whom was my late father-in-law, Henry Clyde Graham.
