I am trying to find my great-grandfather, Redmond DORAN, in Ireland.
What I know about him is the following:

1) Married first to Mary MURRAY (daughter of James MURRAY & Ellen DOYLE) at the Patronage (?) in Lurgan, Armagh, on 28-DEC-1895. He is listed as 28 years old and his father is also named Redmond.

2) Son Daniel DORAN born 30-SEP-1898 in Lurgan, Armagh. Wife Mary died same day in childbirth.

3) Married second to Susanna (aka Susan) LAPPIN (daughter of Henry LAPPIN) at St. Peter's Church in Lurgan, Armagh, on 17-JUL-1902. His father is listed as Redmond and his age is illegible on the marriage entry. Redmond and Susan had four children Elizabeth (aka Lizzie), Edward (aka Ned), Nellie and Mary Ann(e). I believe they also adopted or fostered several other children.

Based on the age listed in the marriage record for his first marriage he would have been born ca 1867. I recently found an IGI entry on www.familysearch.org for a Redmond DORAN, son of Redmond DORAN and Mary Ann JORDAN, born 27-JUL-1867, in County Down. The father's name and birth date seem to fit what I know about him; however, there is no microfilm available to further research the entry other than that information.

Any help to identify the townland and/or parish in County Down that the Redmond DORAN family is from would be appreciated.
