I have a relative Asa Harmon Runyion, who lived in Pikeville. His son recounts a tale of Devil Anse, so our families knew each other and were connected in some way.

My Asa Harmon was born shortly after the McCoy Asa Harmon. Was my gg named for the McCoy even if only a few years older? Was there a third Asa Harmon that they were both named after?

It just seems strange that two babies from the same town were both named Asa Harmon for there to be no connection.

Anyone have clues?
