There is a book entitled "Getting to the Roots of the Family Tree: The Story of a Saxon Family" by Elizabeth M. Tillman which covers 600 years of detailed history of the Tillman family (mostly covered prior to 1837). It is a social history of England seen through the evolution of one family (Tillmans').
It can be ordered through Big Tree Books <bigtreebooks.com>. The cost of the book is $86.00 + $4.50 shipping coast. Does anyone have this book? And is it worth that price? I sure don't want to shell out that much money and find out it's worthless to me! Can anyone help me on this one? My e-mail has changed to
sam.tillman@nwa.com. So, if anyone has seen this book, let me know what you think of it. SAM
