I'm looking for the daughter of William Leander Grimes and Charlotte Platt Wright Grimes. Their son, Absalom Carlisle Grimes, is rather famous but I haven't found a trace of their daughter--don't even know her name.

William Leander Grimes, born September 15, 1811 and died January 20, 1857. Charlotte Platt Wright Grimes died in 1875 at age of 59. Grimes was from Kentucky, moved to NE Missouri, was a steamboat pilot.

The daughter I'm looking for would have been born around 1835 (give or take about 5 years) and was living in Illinois, married I assume, in 1864.

This familiar to anyone?
