I am researching my husbands family tree on behalf of his old uncle who would like to know what happened to his grandmother who emigrated to New Zealand in 1913. She last visited Scotland in the 1950's and he remembers her arriving by plane to visit her son who she had left in Scotland with her parents

Her maiden name was Jane Boyd born 22 Sep 1888 Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland. She had a son Alexander Gray Boyd born 1909 who she left in Scotland.

She married Andrew Emerson McCreadie in New Zealand who was Scottish also. On her marriage certificate she used the name Jane McGarva Boyd and once married used the name Jean Emerson McCreadie.
I believe that she had 2 or 3 daughters and would love to trace them or their families.

Any help would be greatly received as I would love to be able to let my mother in law and her brother know about their family before its too late
