I have a story that I am trying to prove or disprove to be true.

It is about Frances Street born abt 1780 in St. Louis, Mo. and died July 4, 1839 in Cumberland County, Va.
Frances was said to have really been "Yellow Blossom" a daughter of Sioux Chief "Yellow Feather". While on a business trip to St. Louis, Mo. Joseph Thomas from Cumberland Cty. Va, met and fell in love with Yellow Blossom.
Joseph took Yellow Blossom home to meet his family, and had changed her name to Frances Street so that the family would accept her as his wife. They married on Sept 12, 1797 in Cumberland Cty, Va.
This story was hidden in a relative's bible for years, and discoverd after her death.
Joseph Thomas born ca1777 and died Nov. 12, 1840 in Cumberland County, Va. and wife Frances Ann Street? had seven children.
I have more on this family, but nothing on parents of Frances Street at this time.
