I am in a bit of a bind and was hoping that somebody could help me. I am the 5x great grandaughter of Jacob Deckard, born 1757 in Metz, Germany (Lorraine, France), and I would like to get records from the Library of Virginia about the land deeds and baptism records from Zion Lutheran in Wythe County between Jacob Deckard, Sr., and his wife Elizabeth. Unfortunately, my state is not participating in the interlibrary exchange at this time due to funding cuts, and it is very expensive to order these items through the Virginia Library itself. Would it be at all possible that somebody could share their records with me or any documentation that they have? I have the dates, book and page numbers, I am looking for actual archived copies of these records. I am willing to pay for copy fees or anything to help. Please let me know! Thank you very much!
