I am researching the family tree of George Tickell and Mary Hill who were convicts, arriving in NSW in 1835.

They were married in 1840 and had twelve children: Anne, George (George Henry), Mary, Henry, Elizabeth, James, Catherine (Caroline), William, Martha, Edward, Frederick, and Rose. They originally lived in the Maitland area, but later in Armidale, Uralla, etc. Mary had been previously married to Thomas Bishop, bearing him one son.
