What news of Frederick or other Hasselbacks in Stark County during the 1830s and 1840s?

Dolly Hasselbach Smith immigrated to the US in 1828, when she was 10 years old. My real interest is her brother, Henry, b 1816. He lived in Bartholomew County Indiana from the early 1840s. But where was he between 1828 and 1842?

There was another Hasselback, Frederick, possibly either their brother or father, who bought land in Bartholomew County in 1839. His residence was given as 'Stark County, Ohio'.

My guess (hope) is that they spent 10 to 12 years in Ohio between their immigration in 1828 and their relocation to Indiana, abt 1839.
