I am trying to find more information about the Kanouse family.

Marion Kanouse married William Humphrey and is the mother of my great-great grandfather, Edward Humphrey.

Marion is related to George Montague Kanouse, born in 1842 in Ottawa, MI. Edward Humphrey is listed as his nephew, living with him and his wife Clara in the 1880 census (Michigan).

I'm having difficulty locating Marion's parents. I did find a death record which might belong to this same George, showing parents, William Kanouse and Deliah Cullinan; however, they do not list Marion as a daughter

Can anyone confirm this or provide more information?
