Can anyone help with my Butler research?

My wife's father, Patrick Butler was born in Kilkenny 1933. He married Mary Grumbley of Tullamore, Ofally in 1962.
Patrick's parents were Michael Butler (c1891) and Mary Byrne.
Michael's parents were Patrick Butler and Bridget Brennan.
This butler family has a long (300 year?) association with a small farm in Clopook, Ballyfoyle.

I would love to hear from anyone who may have any information that would assist with my research into this family.
