Surnames: CONNOR, O'CONNOR, CONNER, O'CONNER
Daniel Connor (b about 1792), his wife, and his 5 children were on the ship "Albion" sailing from Cork Harbor May 11, 1825. They were part of the Peter Robinson Settlers to Upper Canada. They have not been traceable after 1826 at Ramsay, Almonte, Lanark County ON, southwest of Ottawa. Daniel and his (2nd?) wife Bridget-- are possibly the mother of my Great-Grandmother Ellen Connor (b abt 1818, Co Cork). It's only oral history that my Ellen Connor's Irish immigrant father was a shipbuilder, and he drowned at/near Detroit Michigan about 1830. I'm "searching in the dark," attempting to tie this family with my Irish grandmother. Any information on Daniel, his ancestors, "Glanmile", would be helpful!
