I am searching for information on my 5gg, Wm F Davis, born abt 1725 near Dingwall & Tulloch Castle vicinity. He emigrated to US 1749-1754 and settled in VA, eventually moving to Stokes Co, NC. Any information that can assist me such as websites, or historical data & can help flesh out his story in Scotland (his parents, christening date & location, as well as connection to the Clan Davidson in the Dingwall area,) would be most appreciated.
