I am looking for information on the descendants of James Zachary Brown b. Sept. 05, 1831 in Martin Co., NC, m. Mary Jane Long in 1856, d. April 4, 1920 in Jamesville. Mary Jane was b. Dec. 18, 1835, d. Oct. 18, 1896. They have several children. Their daughter Mamie Brown was my ggrandmother. I know more about her parents than I do her. She married Vernon Carlyle Langley from Elm City. Would be interested in finding any cousins related through the Browns or Longs who may have more information on this family.
