Jesse and Frank James's 2nd great grandfather was Richard Cole, Sr. who was my 4th great grandfather. According to ancestry, the James brothers are my third cousins, twice removed. I would love to hear from any other relatives who are descended from Richard Cole, Sr. through son Jesse Cole and his daughter Eliza Ann Cole.
