I am looking for information about John Sharp who was supposed to have shot his brother-in-law in an area around present day Arkoma, Ok. Brother-in-law's name is unknown, but John may have been married to an Indian lady named Tildie. This shooting took place in 1898 or 1899. JOhn was on the run, either from the law or from family and he came to Texas and changed his name marrying my grandmother as Frank Jackson in 1905. John had a brother named Alexander. Any information appreciated.
