I am hoping that perhaps someone will see this, who is a descendant of John and Annabella Cann.

John was born 1828
Annabella (Ross) Cann was born 1835

John had a brother, George. George and his wife died (family says as a result of a buggy ride, but I am uncertain if this is correct) and I see that George's children eventually are taken in by Annabella and John Cann.

Prior to being taken in by Annabella and John, I was told that George's children (Blanche, William and Florence) had been put in an orphanage by an uncle and all of their "riches" were stolen by said uncle. Again, not sure if this is accurate.
