Anyone out there know something about Eli E. Rood, b. 1849 and wife Adell b. 1857? A gravestone with these names and dates is located in the Fairview cemetery in Dansville. No death dates are inscribed on the stone. Other names on this stone are Dudley A. Drake 1906 - 1906, Doris Tomrell 1911 - 1911, Lysle 1895 - 1898, and Gale 1897 - 1897.

I have been searching for my great grandfather's missing half sister, Adella Rose, daughter of Peter Rose and Adelia Harford. After Peter's death, Adelia married Joseph C. Ewers. The last info I have on daughter Adella is that she was enumerated in the 1870 census of Bunker Hill Township, Ingham Co. with her mother and step father. Adella was stated to be 12 years old at the time, so she may have been born in 1857 or 1858. Joseph C. and Adelia Ewers are also buried in the Fairview cemetery in Dansville, and their stone is not far from the stone of Eli and Adell Rood. The stones for Nettie and David Carl are located immediately west of the Rood stone, and Nettie was the daughter of Joseph C. and Adelia Ewers.
