I believe John Sears Birth 1750 is mine. It's in KY records that they proved it was he by his unique mark. He received bounty land in NC which became Green County, TN.

He sold land and moved to what became the Sears' Farm in Whitley County, KY. The farm was passed down all those years until 1950s when my Uncles, John and Millard, my dad,
Robert Sears, and my Aunt Mellie Sears Yates sold it to the US Goverment and it became part of the Daniel Boone National Forrest.

May be more info than you wanted but I am very proud, as
everyone else should be, to have a relative that served
in the Revolution.
