My grandfather, Charles Perren (Perrin, Paren) lived in Fond du Lac county for 15 years, bringing his bride in 1907 and having two children, 1908 and 1909, while living there. He was a cheese maker and had factories in Empire, Forest, Mount Calvary. The 1910 census is from Empire, previous census and directories have him living in Mt. Calvary with the district being Marshfield.
I would like to find the home they lived in in 1910. I will visit Fond du Lac next week, June 3. Can anyone steer me to where to find land records or tax records for these places? Do I need a geography lesson as these places maybe like Russian dolls, nesting within each other?
