My 4th great grandfather was Alexander CAMPBELL. He was
b. 1749 (probably in King George County, VA); d. in Augusta
County, VA between 1795-1804. I do not know the name of his wife. I have found the following two children:

John CAMPBELL b. 6 Feb 1769; d. 3 Jan 1839 in Monroe County, VA. He m. Mary "Polly" EARLY on 5 Feb 1795 in Augusta County, VA. She was d/o Daniel EARLY (proven DAR Patriot) and Elizabeth ALLISON. Mary was b. circa 1775 in PA and d. in Monroe County on 26 May 1855.

Rebecca CAMPBELL was b. circa 1783 in PA: she d. before 1850 in Monroe County, VA. She m. Samuel EARLY on 12 July 1804 in Augusta County, VA. She was the d/o Daniel EARLY and Elizabeth ALLISON.

Samuel and Rebecca had seven children: Cyrus, Andrew Campbell, Anna, Daniel Jack, William, Mary, and Sarah.

I would love to find any information regarding Alexander CAMPBELL.
