Glengarry, Kenyon Township –

John Bethune (abt 1842) Inverness, Scotland, lived in Kenyon, not sure where he died.

Not sure if both of his parents Malcolm Bethune and Margaret Campbell (abt 1805) Inverness, Scotland (Margaret Bethune (Campbell) settled in Glengarry. Margaret is listed in the 1896 census in Charlottenburg with Donald Bethune (brother of John, born in Inverness abt. 1835) so I’m guessing that that perhaps the whole family arrived after 1835.

John Bethune married Mary Ann Kennedy (abt 1857), born in Kenyon, Ontario
Daughter of William Kennedy and Annie Finnie (as listed on the marriage registration.)
Robert Kennedy (brother) is listed on one census residing with the Bethune family. Any info on Wm Kennedy and Annie Finnie would be appreciated.
