Hello All,

I am missing parentage for one of my Great(x3) Grandmothers. Her name was Mary Sisson born 1817-1818 in Virginia. She married John M Street born 1811 in Kentucky. Together they settled their family in Johnson county, MO.

Their children were: Nancy Frances, Betty Jane, Claiborne James, Mary Ann, William Howard, John Jr., James Squire, Joseph Gilbert, Henry David & Perry Davis.

Claiborn was born 1847 in MO, he married Nancy Jane Henshaw of MO. They divorced shortly after a scandal in the family and Claiborn then married Lizzie Roth.

Herein begins the mystery. My grandfather Joseph Grant(s/o Stanley Richard Grant & Mae Bell Street) was once scolded by his grandmother Nancy Jane Henshaw for picking on a Jewish boy on the school bus home. Nancy claimed that he was also Jewish by blood which would be most likely through Mary Sisson.

I am hoping that someone studying the family connection from the Sisson side may have material proving parentage of Mary because the Grant's did not record it and the Streets remained very secretive after the scandal.
