I am planning a trip to Kansas for researching families in this county. Can somebody tell me a good location to find marriages,deaths, etc. Are they found at the local courthouse? Cemetery books?Is there a local genealogy library? What about Kansas City Library. I have been there, and they have a lot of resources. What is a good place to go? Websites for any of Kansas are completely lacking any usable genealogical data. They seem to be so far behind other states in making info acessable.
