Can anyone help me. My grandmother (Daisy Ethel Field -aged 8 years at the time) and her siblings were put into a children's home when their mother died in 1909. She died in the West Ham Union Infirmary. Does anybody know of a childrens home in this area at that time and would it be possible to find any records?
