However, I have done a lot of research on the unknown things about the Mayos like Valentine's parents and much progress has been made. I also know where James Mayo's plantation is located on Castle Branch and have some land plots of that and the Cunningham property where he died. I actually went there to see the land. I have found Joseph Mayo's son Joseph T Mayo and have land maps of his property on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I plan to start writing pretty soon about all the research I have done, most of which concerns the older Mayos. To answer some of your questions, My son does have a few Mayo Books he can sell. To answer the question about Susan Charlotte Mayo, Her namesake is Jacobs daughter who migrated to Eastern Ky. She Married Tandy Ford. Her brother, Steven Dillard Mayo went on to Fayette County Ohio near Dayton and Columbus and had 16 children. You can send for his Will at the court clerk office there.
