He Married in Blackford, Perthshire on 01/06/1829 Helen McBeath born 08/11/1807 in Blackford to William McBeath & Mary Jack.

Lauchlan, Helen stayed between Dunblane, Braco & Muthill in Perth before following some of their children to Victoria, Australia in January 1869.

They had the following children:-

Daniel born 1830 married Jane Seaton in Mississippi, USA in 1866 and died 1903 Nashville Tennessee.

William born 1832 Married Mary Sherman in Pennsylvania, USA in 1857 and died in 1870 at Kansas, USA

Archibald born 1834 Had 3 x Marriages all in Victoria, Australia to Sarah Hall in 1866, Susan Wilkins in 1892 and Sarah Schluter in 1899 before dying later in 1899 in Chiltern Victoria

Mary born 1836 married Alfred Waldron in 1864 in Chiltern, Victoria and died at Roma Queensland in 1907

Ann born 1838 married George Wilde Evans also in Chiltern in 1861 and died in Tumarumba, NSW in 1919

Laughlan born 1841 also moved to Chiltern Australia and died there in 1869

John born 1843 married Mary Kay McOwan in Crieff, Scotland and moved with his parents to Chiltern Victoria in 1869 he died there in 1907

Hugh born 1848 also moved with his parents in 1869 and died at Melbourne Victoria in 1934

There was a child who died in Infancy but no further information is known about this child.
