I have a boatload of Fields in my NJ research. Haven't connected all of them yet, but they are married into all of the prominent surnames of each era: Vermeule, Lane, Metlar, Garretson, etc.
I'm currently transcribing approximately 83 tombstones for the surname--all in one cemetery (Mountain Avenue Cemetery in Bound Brook, Somerset Co., NJ). Anyone interested--feel free to holler!
