Are the Cape Breton Kytes connected to the Co. Tipperary Kytes, of Silvermines or Templemore (seem to be two families), some of whom immigrated to US and Canada c. 1825-50? I'm searching for a Joseph Kyte who probably arrived Ohio 1847 whose family may have been from one of these two places. He m. Maria Reedy in 1852 in Cincinnati, Ohio and had five kids; he d. 1869--can't find what happened to son Joseph, sibs Elizabeth and Mary Ann, all born c. 1853-63; sib Helen Lillian is my gr grandmother and I know where other sib Catherine went too.
