Hello. I finally found out the maiden name of my husband's ggg grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth Hillis and she was born in about January of 1845 in Scotland with her parents being a John and Elizabeth Hillis (according to her death registration). In Scotland she married a James Anderson (son of Archibald and Janet Anderson) and had a son named Archibald and daughter named Elizabeth before moving to Wakefield, Mass, USA. As the youngest Elizabeth was born in Glasgow I am thinking that the Hillis family was living there as well but I can find no records. Any help would be so appreciated.
