Hi, folks - I'm doing research on the Pachucki family from Kapicza, Lomza, Poland (and Russia, the border shifted), during the period 1860-1900.

My great-grandfather was Adam Pachucki (b.1895, Kapicza, moved to Schenectady, NY). I *think* he had a brother named Stanislaw "Stanley John" (b. 1906, Kapicza, moved to Schenectady, NY). I also *think* (with less confidence) that he might have been related to Boleslaw Pachucki, perhaps a cousin if not a brother (b. 1892, Kapicza, moved to CT).

However, we don't have any evidence of these sibling relationships other than scattered immigration forms (Stanley's listed his brother Adam as destination in NY) and common origin point (I have no evidence linking Boleslaw to the other two other than family lore telling us that Adam had relatives in CT, and I know that one of Adam's children, Hedwig, was born in CT in 1918. My hunch is that perhaps Adam went to find work in CT – knowing Boleslaw in that area, perhaps?).

Adam Pachucki's 1913 Ellis Island entry log said that his father's name (back in Poland) was "Jan" (or perhaps Yan). If that's so, we'd love to know more about who Jan was, and who his wife was.

If you or others here have any information on any of these Pachuckis from Kapicza/Lomza, Poland (then Russia) ~1860-1900, we'd be grateful!
