Michael O'Rourke had purchased 96.5 acres of land from Thomas Lowry between September 24, 1897 and May, 1907. The rectory/church was built between 1906-1907 and is located next to St. Katherine of Siena Church in Torresdale, Pa (in north east Philadelphia). The property was sold at sheriff sale to the Northern National Bank on January 27, 1913. The bank held the title until August, 1919 when George and Mabel Aubrey purchased the house and 10.1 acres. Michael married "Bold" Bessie and had four male children: Michael, John (hearing problem), James and Francis. Can anyone connect with the family's history?
