I'm hoping to contact someone else who is looking into the Campbell/Tunley line of Arthur George Campbell (b. 1879, probably Brisbane, d. 1949, possibly Canungra area) and Emily Patience Tunley, (b 9/1/1876, Wolverhampton, Stafford, England, d. 1958), m 1905, probably Brisbane. I am in the process of ordering the relevant certificates to tie some of this down, but am especially interested in the larger family context and motivation behind the first son of an apparently city-afied clan which, had been in Brisbane since 1871 (Drapers of Queen St), taking off to Canungra and buying land at Wonglepong, in the shadow of the aptly named Mt Misery.

My line, through Arthur and Emily's son Harold Tunley Campbell, became fairly cut off from the rest, residing in Manly after being booted off the farm. So the other main purpose of the research is to ink in my mother and uncle's vague memories of the elder relatives Harold would visit in town (children were for suppressing in those days), like Grandma Emily and Aunty Hester Tunley who lived on Vulture and Browning Sts, but there were more of them than that.

Thanks to other researchers of the Tunley and Platt lines (Arthur's mother was Harriet Eliza Platt b. 6/10/1846, Hammersmith, d. 1911, his father was Edwin Campbell, b 1841, Plymouth, d 1920), plus my own research on the Campbells, I have plenty to share about the antecedents on back to 1800 or more. I'll list below the other members of Arthur George's generation who reached adulthood in case it connects with anyone's interest.
