Hello, I am currently using the Finland's Family History Association's online communion records, and I am curious as to one of the column headers is called "D.S.S. Begripet", and what it means. "Begripet" in my swedish-english dictionary means "intelligable", does this mean they have proper schooling or something?
Here is a link to the record in question-
http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/kirjat/Kirkonkirjat/porvoo/r...Only Anders Henriksson and his son, Anders Andersson, have the D.S.S. Begripet box marked. Family lore stated that a family member in this line was educated at a german university, so I was honestly wondering if that is what this meant. But if it doesnt, that is ok too. Im just curious.
Thanks for the help everyone!
P.S., what "(gift{ALKUP})" mean in a burial records name on HisKi? Instead of making another topic for this question, I figure ill ask it here. Thanks again!
