To all Dormer genealogists:

Various genealogies are hopelessly in conflict over the identity of the mother of William Dormer, born about 1438, the son of Geoffrey Dormer. Most identify her as Ursula Collinridge. But several sources identify Margaret Launcelyn as the first wife, and some give her a death date of 1454. If the birth date for William is correct(1438), then his mother was Margaret, not Ursula. This is really important to all researchers who have William in their tree, as I do, because Ursula connects with the Fitz Alans and thence to the Plantagents--a big deal. Anyone with really good sources who can answer this puzzle?
