I have all but run out of options on trying to find my uncle and thought I would post here to see if ANYONE in the Tennessee area might know something. My uncle,whose birthname was Philip Darwin Smith and was born March 29,1960 in Memphis Tennessee, was placed for adoption two years later, also in Tennessee. Both of the birth parents are deceased, however he has a full sister that thought he was deceased. He has posted on another adoption website, but his email address is not updated. We have no idea what his adopted name is, or what adoption agency it is. It's possible that they kept his first name, due to his age at adoption. We were told that he was possibly given to friends of the family for adoption. My mother thinks that the name "Stuart" or "Brown" sound familiar, but we can be sure. If ANYONE knew Shirlee Marie Greenwall Smith and Raymond L Smith, when they lived in Memphis Tennessee....PLEASE contact me with ANY information that you might have!
