Looking for info on my 2great grandfather, Daniel Grant. He was born in Scotland abt 1831. He is first found in Allegheny Co., PA in the 1850 census with his brother William, sister Jane and her husband Thomas Fergeson. Daniel then goes to IL, settling in Western Township, Henry Co., IL. In 1860 his brother William is living with him, unmarried. Daniel marries Ellen, who according to census records, was born in IRE abt 1835. Daniel's daughter Annie Jane was born in PA and they moved to IL abt 1855. I cannot find information on William or the sister Jane Grant Fergeson. I also would like info on their parents and where in SCT they were born.
