Can someone please help? I have been trying to verify the parentage of my gg grandmother Arianna “Virginia” Cary. I have a pedigree chart done by another member of the family, now deceased, and I cannot get anything to match up. Either the dates are wrong and/or the names are only partial.

My gg grandmother was:

Arianna Virginia Cary b. abt. 1830 at Pear Tree Hall d. 22 Apr 1886 married (1862) Frederick Adolphus Kuper b. 28 Feb. 1826 at Chamble, CP, Quebec, Canada d. 6 Sep 1898 at City Farm, HC, Virginia

Virginia’s parents: Miles Cary b. 1785 d. aft. 1817 married Arianna Digges Hill b. abt 1790

Virginia’s grandparents: Richard Cary married Catherine Dudley

Arianna Digges Hill parents: William Hill married Mary Digges

In the 1930’s the Farmville Harold wrote an article about my grandmother (William “Billy” Kuper Stebbins Hubard) and photographed her standing in front of a portrait that she painted of Virginia Cary, her grandmother. I have this article. Also the Kuper line is well documented so I know that at least this much of the pedigree is correct. In fact, the rest of the lines, Eppes, Wayles, Wilcox, Hubard, Trent, Moseley, Jones, Watson, etc. lines are all correct.
