I am currently researching my family tree and am also including my mother's lineage (Ainsley). The majority of my tree is in South Shields, Tyne Wear, UK and am still finding info (esp. dates of birth death etc) out. One 'famous' local Garbutt is Putty Garbutt, a local artist who I think (need to confirm with Aunt) was my great grandfather.
