(Name also spelled Alstone and Alston).
This marriage produced 3 sons and 3 daughters known to have married. I can trace 2nd son (William) who produced 3 sons who married. I can trace 3rd son (John) who came to S.C. in 1682 and married Elizabeth Turgis and had 6 children (John, William, Elizabeth, Mary, Peter, and Thomasin).
If you can trace ancestry back to the marriage of John Allston and Dorothy Temple, it may be of interest that my father (Robert Walden Coggeshall) has "proved" 5 different lines from Dorothy's father (Sir John) back to illegitamate offspring of English Kings. This proof has been accepted by the "Royal Bastards" (Descendants of the Illegitimate Sons and Daughters of the Kings of Britain).
