Archibald was my grandfather. He was born in New Stephenson, Scotland on July 17th, 1899. His father was William Murphy and his mother was Helen McCauley Murphy. He was in the British Royal Navy and came to Maine USA and took the name of a cousin Langan. He married my grandmother and had two children. After divorcing was deported back to Scotland in 1948. We understand that he had at least one brother. Any information would be helpful.
