For more information on the Brast family, try the Brast Cemetery near Bellville and the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery also near Bellville. Most of the families lived around New Bremen, Nelsonville and Bellville, all of which are in Austin County. There will be a few in the New Bremen Cemetery on Hoppe Sister Road (gravel) between Nelsonville and Cat Spring. My grandmother, Helen Sincl Brast married Fritz Brast. He died in the early 1960's and she passed away around 1987. Hope this helps.
