Gretchen, Just saw your message. We are Theisen's who came to America in the late 1800's from Luxembourg, via Missouri and on into Colorado. We have not been able to find the birth records for my husbands grandfather John Peter Theisen Jr. who is said to have been born in Missouri. His parents are Jean Pierre Theisen and Anna Theisen, who married in Luxembourg. We have a copy of their marriage cerificate, but it is written in German.
