Arend Pieters (1882) & Klaasje Zwaan (1887) arrived from Netherland 11 feb 1920 on Ellis Island, together with their chidren Aaltje (1911) and Willem Anthonie(1915).
They went to Plainfield NJ to join a nephew Cornelius Swan on West Frontstreet 147.
The couple divorced 22 jan 1924 in New Jersey.
Aaltje changed her name to Alice Pieters and became a stenographer. I found Alice in the 1930 census, living in a family with William Chamberlain(1889), Catherne Chamberlai and James(1913) and Sussan (1920). Catherne seems to be Klaasje Zwaan.
Another nephew is Cornelius Pieter Swan (1889) who lived Plainfield Ward 4 with his wive Stella and their sons Rens and William.
I can find no further connection to these familymembers, so I would be very happy to receive more information.
