MISSOURI W. CORD: After an illness of ten weeks’ duration. Mrs. Missouri Wyatt Cord, wife of Mr. Frank P. Cord, Sr. died at her home, 513 South street, yesterday afternoon at 2:15 o’clock. She was 61 years old. Mrs. Cord was a native of Havre de Grace, Md., but had made her home in Portsmouth for the last ten years. Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Catharine C. Charshee, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. M. Buchanan, of Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. A. M. Cord, of New York city, Mrs. Alice Varian, of Baltimore, Mrs. Robert Pretton, of Portsmouth, Messrs. Franklin Pierce Cord, of Portsmouth, and J.C. Cord, of Stratford, Conn. (7/1/1916)
