I guess this may be a waste of time but I have to try.
HELP! I'm looking for my lost brother.
My mother was Catherine C. Stewart. She was the 2nd daughter of B.O. & ruby Stewart. My mother grew up in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
Sometime between August of 1945 & July of 1947 my mother gave birth to a son out of wedlock.
She was between 18 & 20 years of age & still living at home with her parents & 8 of her siblings.
When her son was born, he was born at home, wrapped up & carried (by my grandfather I believe) out the back door, & given to neighbors. I do not know the name of the family he was given to. I have reason to believe that I know his first name.
Since he was born at home, there are no papers to link him to my mom.
It is possible that he may have been born before 1945.
If we can find him, my sisters & I would love to meet him.
