I am following up on a family story that Zaddock Jones served in the Revolutionary War.
Zaddock Jones
born:1756, Dorchester County, Maryland “from the state of Delaware”. This part of Maryland was part of Delaware at the time of his birth.
His father was possibly John Jones, if so his grandfather would be Charles Jones of Dorchester County. Possible brother, Thomas Jones.

Zaddock married:
Elizabeth Flowers ca 1784-1785 in Motherskill (Kent Co? Sussex Co?) Delaware.
She was born:1760, Dorchester Co Maryland.
Both Zaddock and Elizabeth are buried in Lincoln-Casey Co Kentucky. Zaddock out lived his wife and died between 94 and 104 yrs old.

Zaddock is also spelled Zadock, Zadioc, and Zadok.
