Ann Gordge arrived in May 1852 on the "Duke of Cornwall". There is no entry for Gordge in the Arrival Index for that ship, and it is possible the passenger lists no longer survive. According to the Adelaide Destitute Asylum
Records on 17 July 1852 Ann Gordge (aged 3 years) was admitted suffering from dysentry. She was discharged on 28th July 1852. It appears that the two sisters, Louisa and Ann, suffered from dysentery on the voyage of four months
from England.
