Below is a record from the LDS transcription of the 1881 Btish Census. Can anyone tell me what was going on in or near Knutsford in 1881 that led to four barristers being the only guests in the Angel Hotel?
My particular interest is in Frederic Marshall who was my ggrandmother's second husband, she being his second wife.
By the way, he was most certainly married at this date; his wife and family appear in the same census at 5 Acton Vale, Hammersmith, Middlesex
Many thanks,
Tim Weedon.
